I don’t film births only to turn them into a highlight reel with trending audio. What I do is cinematic storytelling. As a photographer with over 16 years of experience and hundreds of families filmed, I’ve invested in years of specialized birth videography mentorship and workshops to tell your story with the care it deserves.

Your baby’s birth, preserved as a cinematic story. The labor pains, your partner comforting and consoling you, the moment when your baby takes their first breath, holding your child for the first time… it will all be there in your birth film. All those precious, vulnerable moments will be there for you in the months and years to come.
I only take 6-8 births a year to make sure I’m fully present for my clients and don’t have overlapping due dates. As your birth approaches (weeks 37-42), I’m on call. As soon as it’s time, I’ll be there right alongside your birth team.

With modern technology, we are able to capture a lot on phones. When a loved one holds a phone, they aren't fully holding space. They're managing lighting and angles, not offering a hand or a whisper of encouragement. They're outside the moment, not in it with you.
Birth is sacred. Your partner deserves to be there, and so do you. Let a professional carry the responsibility of preserving your memories—so everyone else can simply live them.
They cannot be fully present for you.
It is also a lot of pressure to be responsible for capturing video of the birth, while simultaneously experiencing emotions themselves.
When you hire a birth photographer, you delegate the photos to a professional and let your partner do what they are best at, which is support you.

I aim to arrive 2-3 hrs before delivery, around 6-7 cm (all a guesstimate, as we know!) and stay approximately 2 hours after birth. I am aiming to capture all of your transition phase of birth as well as immediately after birth as you have skin to skin, cut the cord, latch for the first time. I will also capture daddy holding baby for the first time, baby getting weighed and measured during their newborn assessment and then if applicable, the siblings meeting their little baby sibling.

Absolutely. Personalized planning and outfit guidance is included with every session, which means I’ll guide you on what to wear from those early post-partum days to the 12-month milestone session.

I make them as long as necessary to tell the story! Typically they are 5-10 mins but I have made a few that were longer.
