When I think about my mom pregnant with me in the 80s, I think about the story she told me of her on the porch one day, it was really hot. She said there was a breeze and she stood on the porch in the breeze, barefoot, enjoying a cigarette. She said later, she found out there was a tornado across town! This is a photo I wish I had - telling that story of what life was like being pregnant in the summer in the 80s.
I want you to remember where you lived when you were pregnant and what life was like. I will ask you about your pregnancy and target your session to tell that story. If you have other children, think of it like a "family session with a bump"

Both Maternity and newborn sessions take place in your home! I want to capture the story of what life was like when you were pregnant and with a new baby. In my other sessions, I never pose, but in these sessions I do a small percentage of them posed to get a well rounded gallery.

If it’s a photography only session, usually 2-3 weeks. If you add on a film, we can talk more in depth. Some clients want it later when baby is cooing!
