Nashville Maternity Photographer | Stephanie's Ethereal Maternity Session

I love all of my clients. literally, every.single.one. I have some who have zero interest in being in creeks or woods and Im okay with that :) After all, it is so nice to change up the scenery! However, I do love ethereal and nature shoots, for sure. Stephanie had fallen in love with my nature shoots, and was very brave, so I decided to take it to a whole other level. She was willing to do anything, so I, of course, took advantage!

Sweet Amos went 2 or so weeks overdue, and was still just a peanut! I guess nature knew he needed to cook extra long ;)

It was so fun posing Amos - I especially love his macro close up shots and his shots with his parents. His sweet face is so beautiful and his lashes are long! Not to mention, that hair.... OH and the lips.....

I photographed Anna's Maternity Session a few months ago, and Ive fallen in love with this sweet family! They love nature and I cannot wait to see Amos again at his 6 month session. Im sure it will be here before we know it!

I cannot wait to blog about my big secret. Its so stinkin' awesome!Until then, here is what I have been up to in September. Meet this sweet girl! I have had this blue hat, but never the right fabric for it. But I finally received some awesome fabric that was made for this hat. I just love this blue set up for a girl :)Im eager to meet two sweet baby girls this weekend. I have some fun ideas for them as well! one set up, I have been planning for months. Nashville Newborn Photographer | Lexington, SC Workshop

My first ever workshop! Totally worth blogging about :)Why am I offering a workshop? Many reasons! 1) I LOVE teaching. I used to want to be a teacher and tutored for a while - one of the most rewarding jobs ever. I have a background in psychology that has given me insight on working with adults, I find it easy to read people and this helps me use unique ways of teaching people :) 2) I am determined to have a successful workshop. I have heard that there are too many people or people just dont get much out of them. So, I am limiting it to 6 photographers and using SIX models. I plan to get each attendee some posing time as well, so they can have hands on experience.Each attendee will be served beverages and food during the workshop. I will also be discussing business building as well, such as blogging, google, websites, networking, facebook, etc. I can answer questions regarding Lightroom as well, but I wont volunteer it. I will be going over how to edit newborns in detail. Sharing where to find great backgrounds and props, etc. As well as going over camera technique! (angles!! and blur!)I cannot wait to do this. Each baby and person I come into contact with in this business, I bond with. Im sure this will be no exception.Registration will begin tomorrow night at 6 p.m.!

Ava will be my very last 3,6,9,12 baby. She turns 9 months around my due date so she will have her photos taken by another photographer. I will then do her 12 month session. She is SO stinkin' adorable for every session! Franklin Tennessee newborn Photographer | Bridger is HERE!

Bridger. SO in love with his name!!! I photographed his momma's baby bump here last month. His momma is super sweet and she will be joining stroller strides soon, so I think we will become friends :DHer husband is THE nicest man alive. Went out and got us lunch during our 4.5 hour session with Bridger. Normally, the parents get to watch TV, sleep, and chill out on the couch, but this mom was nearly my assistant, because he would not sleep for much of anything :D Stinker! I have been very excited to meet Addison for a while now. I love every single baby I pose and they are all very exciting, but when I get a baby who is of a different nationality, it really excites me.Her parents work in the medical field and are a delight to be around. They are very sweet and loving and you can just see how much joy this baby girl brings to their life. Her Momma is a stunningly beautiful person and Addison definitely takes after her. Nashville Twin Baby Photographer | Twin Newborn Girls

Most newborn photographers LOVE twins. I am definitely one of them. These girls were born 10 weeks premature and were about 6 weeks old for the shoot. But they were great and slept like champs (they had mom and dad up all night). During the session, Mom and Dad watched some TV and snoozed on the couch in the loft area of my studio. Then they went across the street for lunch while I finished up. I love that moms and dads trust me with their babies. I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful woman's baby bump last week. She has great taste in clothing and lives on farm land (which is awesome for photos).
