Nashville Maternity Photography | Jennifer's Water Session
Jennifer and I had such a blast with the water. She wanted water in her photos somehow, and Im so glad, because these are just so gorgeous! She is stunning in her Free People (LOVE!) dress and I had some dresses and things for her as well. We really had so much fun. At the end her comments were that she felt like it took 5 minutes and was way less stressful and more fun that she had anticipated. Music to my ears! She has the smallest bump ever, and she is all belly! I have several sessions at this location and cannot wait to blog them all. What a fun find!Warmly,

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Malary's Sunset Session
The weather was so amazing for Mal's shoot. It was sunny and not a cloud in the sky! We had so much fun capturing Malary's bump for baby #3! Rowan. I cannot believe I have captured THREE pregnancies for Malary! I cannot wait to capture another baby boy for her. Wyatt and Sawyer are going to be awesome big brothers and Im sure this little guy will be the toughest one of all. Thank you Malary, for choosing me every single time! I love you girl!

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Kacey's Baby Bump
Turns out, bringing your own hair stylist to a session, is the BEST idea ever! My client, Kacey, brought her hairstylist, Ashley to her session. BRILLIANT idea! Even Kacey's husband kept saying "worth every penny"Of course, I may have used Ashley slightly, I mean, how often do I get to have an assistant at my disposal? So, I may have asked her to hold a dress or help a few times :) She was AWESOME and I think, she kind of enjoyed it!We had such fun being in the creek and playing in the purple trees for Kacey's maternity session. She is simply gorgeous and is radiant while carrying that precious cargo! I can't wait to meet Parker, very soon!We were so lucky to have such great weather this day, as it has been a brutally cold spring here in Nashville! and windy!Warmly,

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Mary's Maternity
I loved meeting Mary. It was the weekend of the big January snow! I was glad to be able to drive to her, the roads were pretty good. We had such fun in her home, photographing her glowing belly. Her drive way is on a hill, so I Put my emergency brake on when I parked. When I left, I reversed out and could not go anywhere in the slush! Mary's husband and dad got me going, giving me a good push! But then her husband, ran down the road to tell me my back tires were not spinning. He asked me to look at my dash and see if it said something. Sure enough, I had left my emergency brake on. Sure can't wait to see him again so he can tease me Im sure! Im such a ding dong!Warmly,
Nashville Maternity Photographer | Audrey
I have been working with a videographer on my new promo video. Im so excited! Audrey was gracious enough to be a model for me during this. I couldn't have dreamed her up if I would have tried! Her red hair with my planned green dress! Gah! She's gorgeous!
3 Reasons to get your bump captured!
#1 You only get to be pregnant with this baby for a short time.
It's going to go by so fast and you hardly even get to process the reality of it all. Only later, will you look back and cherish it more fully! Having photos to look back on will be something precious to you.
#2 Your child will want to see what you looked like pregnant!
Especially if you have a daughter, she will want to look back at what her own mother looked like when she was pregnant with her. She might want to compare how your belly looked to how hers looked someday!
#3 There are no guarantees in life.
Okay, I hesitated for this one, but it's too true to not share. As much as I never speak this over pregnant mothers, you never know how this pregnancy will end. Obviously, the majority of the time, it's a healthy baby at home. But if it's not? This may be the only way to capture this pregnancy and time with your baby. After having friends lose their babies and sister who had a still birth, this is too important to not put as a reason for maternity photos.

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Ashton's Golden Glow Session
Meeting Ashton for her maternity session was such a joyful experience. We had so much to chat about and she just radiated pure joy. The weather for December was so warm, and the light was amazing (I may have squealed a few times). I cannot wait to meet her baby boy in 2016!Warmly,

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Pamela's Fiery Sunset Session
The light was AMAZING the night of Pam's Maternity shoot. The sky was on fire, and so were Pam and I! We had such fun creating art from her special bump. Its a special type of session, photographing a woman in her glowing pregnancy. I LOVE shooting babies, but its so fun to pose adults for these sessions and to be able to take the time to take many different angles, and know that they will stand still. tehehe. Whereas, babies MOVE a lot! and you get what you can get most times :) I can't wait to meet Pam's baby in January!xoxoWarmly,

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Christine's Fall Maternity Session
Wave had such gorgeous weather this fall. Its been warm enough to let clients wear some more minimal type clothing and not totally freeze :)My clients and I had many laughs and such fun at their maternity session - we always have a blast together! I will have seen them three times between October and December, with a baby on the way, their 2 year session for their daughter and the newborn session in December. I can't wait to do another year of portraits for them. Best. Clients. EVER.xoxoWarmly,
