I was so excited to meet Echo, especially after he went 2+ weeks past his due date! and just as I predicted, he was about as chill as a baby can get. I figured, since he was clearly in no rush to begin life :) HA!I adored photographing his mommy during her pregnancy and then getting to do her newborn session. She wasn't totally sold on the newborn session - coming out of the house so soon after birth. It meant a lot to me that she did it and I don't think she regretted it :)Also, I have attached photos of her Thank you note she sent after her maternity session. Sweet Alexus. That HAIR! those lashes! those cheeks and that chunk :) oh, she's just plain gorgeous! But, I mean that seems obvious when you see her mommy. I loved photographing her mommy's maternity session a little while ago and now to meet the baby girl that was in her tummy, is just SO amazing. I truly treasure each baby, each session, each family, etc. They are all so fun to work with!

Another sweet, good friend, had a baby. Ashley and I have been friends for a few years. And she had her sweet baby, Quill in July. I loved working with this sweet girl, and I adore her lips! Ashley wanted a home birth this time, but decided she lived too far from the hospital, should an emergency occur. So, she went to her OB,etc. However, God intervened and she had her baby quickly, at home, on the bathroom floor. Unlike most mommies, she was thrilled with it (after seeing all was well!)

Sweet Nora. I love her lips - which she clearly inherited from her mommy! Ive had an amazing time photographing Ashley when she was pregnant and now photographing her little girl, Nora. Nora wasn't quite ready for her shoot the day we had chosen, so she had to come back another day to finish up. and she sure was a different baby! Its amazing the difference one day can make!

Sweet. Penelope. Full head of hair, gorgeous lashes and lips. Just gorgeous from head to toe!
Penelope's mommy and daddy tried for a long time to have a baby. Once they got pregnant, they were over the moon. It was Thanksgiving. Everyone came to celebrate. But right before the holiday, they were told the baby wasn't viable. They were devastated. A few days later they had to go to discuss the next time they would try. But they did an ultrasound and baby's heartbeat was there! Penelope is a pure miracle!
