At the first birth I attended alongside Viergeni, I had been there for all of an hour when I looked at her and said, “You are my favorite doula.”
How did I know so fast?
If you have ever been in the presence of this woman, you know what I mean.
Some say she is anointed. She has such an amazing uniqueness about her. Her soul is just so good and so pure.
She loves—LOVES—her job.
And she is really really good at it.
When Viergeni helps a mother through labor, she brings all aspects of who she is into the birth space.
Her spirituality, her empowered female personality, and the mother that she is at home… all while loving on the birthing mom and making sure dad knows he is important. (More important than Viergeni.)
Viergeni is DONA-certified and has been attending births since 2018.
She has three babies of her own, which I think is a must when choosing a Doula. It can be very hard (though not impossible) to be an excellent birth worker if you have yet to birth a baby.
