Nashville Birth Videographer + Photographer | 2025 Award Winning Images

I’m not really one to enter competitions to win awards for my photos. I really like to focus my energy on my clients and only things that will bring me more clients. But I started to feel alone in the birth photography world. I wanted to meet other photographers and see what was out there in terms of photos and videos of births. I also think I wanted to just see what happened.

I didn’t think I would win. I did not put too much thought into the photos I submitted, I just chose my favorites. The reason I did not think I would win is that so many winners are photographers only… they don’t offer video as well. You make AMAZING images when all of your energy goes to that. But when you are a birth videographer too, you put 99% of your energy into the birth film and occasionally take a photo. So the photos aren’t the STRENGTH of your work.

Im not sure how many entered, but it was hundreds…. I felt SO shocked I won anything. I think I would enter again, because it was a really good experience, even if I had not won!

I truly feel SO blessed to do this work, awards or not. It’s just an honor to give women the gift of the story of their birth, something they will cherish for the rest of their lives. If you want your birth filmed, please contact me here!
