Ayla's session was pure magic. I designed the entire session and ordered her a custom gown. Watching it all come together is always so much fun.She is 3, so there were times when she didn't want to do certain things - but you know what? That is okay! We let her have fun and don't force children to do anything. The weather was perfect after a lot of rainy days. She loved the water and exploring. I wanted to capture her eyes and lips and wild curly hair. As well as her spunky personality. I cant wait to see what her momma does with these images.Warmly,

This family, y'all, is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE FAMILIES! They left a while back to move to florida. I photographed their first son, Chase, here in Nashville, until he was a toddler, and then they moved. So, I didn't get to photograph their second son. But Thank the LORD they moved back! and I was able to finally meet Sweet Chandler! I just loved him to pieces. Very laid back and has the most fun wild hair. We had such fun capturing this time!

Addison is growing so fast, we had a blast letting her play in the water! She may not be a baby any longer, but I can still some baby-isms left. I hope she keeps a few for just a bit. Babies don't keep! I designed her whole session. I love coming up with a vision and seeing it come to life. At the end, she gave us some of those sweet moments, sucking her thumb. Those moments, will be missed!

I was able to photograph sweet Elizabeth. She is 3 and her mom says she is sassy. I never saw that side of her. She was just sweet and very fun to capture! We photographed at my home, where I have land. In the backyard is this small square of Weeds / Herbs / Flowers. You always get a different answer depending on who you ask. My kids have been telling me to use it in photos. Ive disregarded it, as you can see in this iPhone photo, its not much to look at:

Nashville Baby Photographer | Ashton's 3 Month Studio Shoot
Ashton is 3 months. and since it was December, we decided to shoot at a local studio (I rented from another photographer for one day). It was fun to play with this window (my obsession with windows continues). I love a baby and a window. So many fun ways to shoot and capture light (and shadows). I am, however, ready to see this little guy outside!

Amy Weber, of Releve One, is one of the kindest, warmest people I have ever met. Ive known since we planned her session, that it would be nothing short of amazing. I did very little to encourage this family to be emotive. This is just who they are. Amy radiates love in everything she does. Her husband does too and their children take after them. She is outwardly loving of God and it was obvious that she brought Him with her! The Heavens turned Golden and light shone all around. It was a spectacular sunset. We had such a peaceful session full of Joy! I met amy, a little over a year ago taking a barre class at her studio in Franklin, TN. She also has developed a workout called Tap N Pow(her) that is AMAZING! She is and always will be one of my favorite people on Earth.

Lane is TWO! I cannot believe it! We always have fun (and almost every session together, were sweating!) But its always a lovely time with this family. Lane is full of BOY and loves to be independent and to explore. I loved capturing his baby-ness before its all gone :( and capturing his tough natured, explorative spirit. This little guy right here, is hilarious and full of personality. He's so smiley and happy and LOVES nature (clearly). He has the funniest expressions and is ready to be mobile. He has no interest in being slow in his development. We started the session upset that the sun wasn't there and then it came out! Its as glorious! What a beautiful day it was :)

Ive been photographing this crew now for nearly THREE years. So were fairly comfortable with one another. When I threw out the insane idea of shooting at the fair, Christine was all over it. So, we did! and it was such a blast. I love how the images turned out. I was on the carousel with them, riding backwards, and shooting. What a fun adventure ! I got off and was a tad dizzy. There was a lot of laughter and chaos, but it was really great. I hope to shoot there again!

Ive said it a million times, Im sure, but it still rings true! There is no greater honor than photographing a client's newborn - and being chosen for each and every baby they have had! This is Mary Alice, she is the 3rd girl for this sweet family. Their girls are too sweet and the older two are so in love with their newest member! They also have a sweet doggy, and it was so fun capturing some with her. She was so careful and nervous to be around the baby. She truly melted my heart!

Greyson LOVES dirt. He i literally always dirty. Ive wanted to capture Greyson (my own 4 year old) playing in dirt for a long time. He is such a nature lover. His heart is so big and he loves all insects and animals. He loves collecting bugs and observing them. Im going to miss this stage, where he's so imaginative (He will always be imaginative Im sure) and playful and just enjoys all things nature. Im so glad Im able to capture this time, as we know it goes all to quickly. I bought these super cool Green pants at Mini boden - I love this store!
