Nashville Newborn Baby Photographer | Big Announcement
I first met Kellie a few years ago, when she came to me for mentoring. It was love at first, sight. She is HYSTERICAL. and has the warmest heart of anyone I have ever known. She and I connected because we both just really love babies. Since then, we have visited and spent time together, despite her living in Memphis. A few months ago, I finalized my choice to step back from my business, the newborn part anyway, and do less where newborns are concerned (because Im homeschooling). My focus in life has changed a lot and I had to adapt my priorities to our new chapter in parenthood. A few months ago, I kept saying she should move here and work for me and pose newborns! All she wants to do is pose newborns. She has no interest in running a full business. I was half joking but secretly wishing it would come true. And dare I say, it has! She and her hubby have decided to relocate to Nashville and My sweet Kellie will be working for me.So, what will this look like? If anything, clients will get me even more! Maybe not for newborn, but because Kellie can photograph more newborns than I can, it will allow me to still photograph clients' maternity and first year sessions! Her style is representative of mine, Organic, simplistic, sweet and simple! You'll love her and our team will work hard for the CLIENT! xoxoWithout further ado, meet Kellie. I have been working with a videographer on my new promo video. Im so excited! Audrey was gracious enough to be a model for me during this. I couldn't have dreamed her up if I would have tried! Her red hair with my planned green dress! Gah! She's gorgeous!
3 Reasons to get your bump captured!
#1 You only get to be pregnant with this baby for a short time.
It's going to go by so fast and you hardly even get to process the reality of it all. Only later, will you look back and cherish it more fully! Having photos to look back on will be something precious to you.
#2 Your child will want to see what you looked like pregnant!
Especially if you have a daughter, she will want to look back at what her own mother looked like when she was pregnant with her. She might want to compare how your belly looked to how hers looked someday!
#3 There are no guarantees in life.
Okay, I hesitated for this one, but it's too true to not share. As much as I never speak this over pregnant mothers, you never know how this pregnancy will end. Obviously, the majority of the time, it's a healthy baby at home. But if it's not? This may be the only way to capture this pregnancy and time with your baby. After having friends lose their babies and sister who had a still birth, this is too important to not put as a reason for maternity photos.

I say it every time, but being chosen to photograph multiple babies from one family is an enormous compliment. I always feel so honored to be apart of a family's special time - especially when they are having a sweet newborn. Elijah's mommy drove all the way from Clarksville to Nashville to see me :) He was so good and slept very well. I just love his little features and his slightly dark skin tone. I really adore putting little pants on little boys! I also enjoy the simple shots, like just naked black and whites. All baby and no props :)Warmly,

Sweet Baby Lane was SO much fun to photograph at his 3 month shoot. He has the most beautiful blue eyes, long lashes and chunky rolls for DAYS. I was so incredibly blessed to photograph his sister as a newborn a few years ago and now I get to do Lane's newborn and first year. I love every client so much. I know there are lots of photographers out there and I feel so honored to have them choose me. Its not easy to trust someone with your baby and with your memories. Sweet Baby Henley was amazing for her 6 month Photography session. I adore babies of all ages, but six months is so fun! I love putting them in props and setups :) I have several six month old sitting sessions coming up in January! I can't wait to play :DWarmly, 
Nashville Baby Photographer | Axl's newborn Session
Baby Axl decided to arrive 5 weeks early. But she's a fighter and very strong and is doing quite well! I was born 5 weeks early as well, and she and I share a birthday! So, she was such a special newborn client :) I LOVED working with her mommies and I hope they fall in love with her all over again in the photos we captured during her session. She was not very newborn like anymore, given she had to stay in the hospital a few weeks. But even with the short amount of images, they sure turned out amazing!

Oliver.I couldnt wait for this session. I loved working with his parents during their maternity session. Oliver is the cutest thing ever. I knew I would use olive green for part of his session. I love his lips, and eyes, and skin tone. But the best feature? Definitely those lip dimples. look close! Nashville Newborn Photographer | Lexington, SC Workshop
My first ever workshop! Totally worth blogging about :)Why am I offering a workshop? Many reasons! 1) I LOVE teaching. I used to want to be a teacher and tutored for a while - one of the most rewarding jobs ever. I have a background in psychology that has given me insight on working with adults, I find it easy to read people and this helps me use unique ways of teaching people :) 2) I am determined to have a successful workshop. I have heard that there are too many people or people just dont get much out of them. So, I am limiting it to 6 photographers and using SIX models. I plan to get each attendee some posing time as well, so they can have hands on experience.Each attendee will be served beverages and food during the workshop. I will also be discussing business building as well, such as blogging, google, websites, networking, facebook, etc. I can answer questions regarding Lightroom as well, but I wont volunteer it. I will be going over how to edit newborns in detail. Sharing where to find great backgrounds and props, etc. As well as going over camera technique! (angles!! and blur!)I cannot wait to do this. Each baby and person I come into contact with in this business, I bond with. Im sure this will be no exception.Registration will begin tomorrow night at 6 p.m.!
Nashville Baby Photographer | Ava turns 6 months old!
Ava will be my very last 3,6,9,12 baby. She turns 9 months around my due date so she will have her photos taken by another photographer. I will then do her 12 month session. She is SO stinkin' adorable for every session!
