I have to pinch myself daily. I mean, how did I get this blessed? This job is THE BEST JOB EVER. Its not always easy, the shooting and editing are always the fun parts, of course! Penelope is already a nature girl. I loved photographing her and her parents in my field - of golden rods. What a dream! At the end of a session, I love snapping some nursing photos! I always give the mom the option - If I can post them or not. If she wants, she can just keep them all to herself. Time is fleeting.

The weather was lovely the day of Bennett's in Home session. They had the most gorgeous natural light in their home. Working with Bennett was a breeze. Ive said it a million times, Im sure, but it still rings true! There is no greater honor than photographing a client's newborn - and being chosen for each and every baby they have had! This is Mary Alice, she is the 3rd girl for this sweet family. Their girls are too sweet and the older two are so in love with their newest member! They also have a sweet doggy, and it was so fun capturing some with her. She was so careful and nervous to be around the baby. She truly melted my heart!

Wyatt was such a HAM for his session. He also showed me his fussy side, but it was a great shoot regardless! He gave me so many expressions, and I loved capturing all of them for his momma to look back on. My favorite shots are never the "smiling at the camera" shots. They are always the angle that shows his double chin, or her squished nose. They're the messy true personality shots, that are candid, raw and draw emotion.
