Nashville Twin Baby Photographer | Twins Chase and Conner
Sweet twin baby boys Chase and Conner are THE sweetest little things. Chase is ALWAYS a character! he is the funny one and Conner agrees. They are both so fricken cute, its cuteness overload! And I love how each one takes after a different parent. Most parents of twins, I imagine, would be all in a frenzy, but these two are SO laid back and were obviously destined for twins. Plus, it kills me that Jennifer doesn't even LOOK like she had twins 9 months ago!XOXOWarmly,

Nashville Newborn Baby Photographer | Emerson.
Emerson has the most adorable squishy face and her hair went on for miles! I could have posed her all day, she was so easy and laid back and hardly made a peep. I love using muted colors rather than bright colors on newborns. Its just so organic and clean.Thank you, Megan, for choosing me to capture your sweet girl!Warmly,

Nashville Baby Photographer | Ryan's 5 Month session
Baby Ryan came into the studio to get some photos done. He was so smiley! I love all of his awesome expressions. He has some pretty amazing black and white images! I love taking photos of baby on my wood floors, but oh! how I LOVE little ones on a cream flokati and cream wall. Just so dreamy!Warmly,

Nashville Baby & Family Portrait Photographer | Chase's 9 Month Session
Its spring here in Nashville, Tennessee and I couldn't be happier trampling through woods and creeks for my sunset sessions. They literally make my heart sing! Despite falling flat on my rear in a creek with my camera and extremely expensive gear (no worries, I protect it like its a newborn), I am still thrilled to pieces that I got whatever shot I was aiming for. (I protect my clients like crazy and make sure no one falls, but Im usually not so careful with my own body).Every.single.session. of Chase's has been out of this world. This session had a lot riding on it, as his family has moved clear to Florida and they can't just come back the next day if the shoot fails. And of course, Chase didn't sleep that afternoon like planned. No pressure! Other than he was a bit spacey for some photos, he did really well! and at times, even hammed it up like he always does! He has the most fun personality (you can see that so evidently in one of his photos on the path). Im so sad this family has moved, but so thrilled that they love me enough to travel back to Nashville to finish up their first year! I pray they get to move back before #2 is in the oven! I want to photograph their entire journey.Thank you, Neysa, for choosing me and traveling back to see me! XOXO Warmly,

Nashville Newborn Baby Photographer | Elijah.
I say it every time, but being chosen to photograph multiple babies from one family is an enormous compliment. I always feel so honored to be apart of a family's special time - especially when they are having a sweet newborn. Elijah's mommy drove all the way from Clarksville to Nashville to see me :) He was so good and slept very well. I just love his little features and his slightly dark skin tone. I really adore putting little pants on little boys! I also enjoy the simple shots, like just naked black and whites. All baby and no props :)Warmly,

Nashville Baby & Child Photographer | Olivia and her duck
This past November, I had the honor of taking a workshop with Jinky Art Photography, a child photographer from Australia. We had a weekend retreat in the mountains of Georgia. It was a glorious weekend and I left feeling kind of lost. You might wonder, why I would fee lost. But what Jinky did for me was to make me look inward at my own self and to dig deeper and pull out the artistic side of me that I have always denied.Upon leaving, I knew I had this session lined up in late March with Olivia. Her momma had said she wanted it done in a creek with rain boots. Upon coming back to Nashville, I had my first full vision for a session. It had a yellow duck and some sort of old fashioned type of outfit. Olivia's momma and I emailed back and forth plenty, about boots and colors and outfits, etc. But once we found the outfit, all came together. It was really fun designing a session and I can't wait to do more! The Hunter rain boots were nearly impossible to find in a toddler size. But we finally found them on Ebay. The duck, was hard to find! The TSC here was always sold out or only had tiny ones. I wanted a yellow duck that would be big enough to really see in the photos. A few days before, I got lucky and TSC had a big yellow one! My dear friend Ashley, has a homestead and is now the proud owner of this sweet duck. I want to be sure, when using animals, that all safety precautions and legalities are followed and that the animal isn't just dumped off. If I have to keep it myself, I will.We showed up to the session with very little expectations. I mean, a creek, a duck and a toddler. It doesn't get more volatile than that! But the duck was amazing, it just stood still! and it quickly followed Olivia all around. In the creek, daddy is next to the duck and momma is right next to Olivia, for safety. They were photoshopped out :)At the end of the shoot, Olivia really wanted her enormous stuffed doggy, so why not! I love the shots I got of her with it, they show off the essence and innocence of sweet childhood.Thank you, Tera, for doing this amazing shoot with me! I will never forget it :)Warmly,

Nashville Baby & Family Photographer | Hysmith Family & Milestone session
Photographing this sweet family was so fun, and adventurous ;) I straight fell into the creek on my tush during this gorgeous shoot! It was so fun, and its all because Im too busy seeing light and composition to be watching where Im stepping. Soaking wet even, just had to keep going. and I LOVED every single second! A few years ago I would have been so skittish of the creek! But Im in love with all things nature now, thanks to my job and lifestyle. All of these shots were extremely safe. Mommy stood on one side of baby, and I snapped some shots, then she stood on the other side, I combined the photos and was able to photoshop mommy out. She was so close she could easily touch baby. I never put babies at risk. I can't wait to see Harper back at her 12 month session. I adore this family so much. Theres one of Harper looking up and to the left in the creek. In that photo, she was staring lovingly at her daddy, who is in the music industry. He was singing to her. Sweetest.thing.ever.Warmly,

Nashville Baby Photographer | Henley's Nature Session
Baby Henley came back to see me for her 9 month session. It was so much fun to pose her in nature. Some of the photos below look like she's in a creek alone, but please know that babies are never at risk, most shots that look risky, mom is photoshopped out. I can take two photos and overlap them in photoshop and take mom out and still leave the photo looking perfect.Henley is always sweet and photogenic for the camera. I cannot wait for her 12 month session. How lucky was I to find a patch of daffodils? It must mean Im going to have a great year! Because every year I try to find wild flowers and can't find them at the right time ;)Thank you, Christine & Jason, for choosing me! Its always so fun!Warmly,
