This sweet family has a one year old! I can't even believe it! They had a rougher path to pregnancy than most, so Im completely overjoyed that they are pregnant with #2! another girl! I have had a blast photographing LK this year, and getting to know this sweet country family. Lillie was unsure of touching grass but she LOVES to be naked outside! So we grabbed some sweet photos of her nakey self, while its still socially acceptable. Loved the quilt they brought with them, it makes the session even more personable :) This was my hottest session so far this year! We were sweating after the first shot! Thankfully, Photoshop helps so the photos don't show that :) I totally fell in LOVE with this willow tree!Thank you for choosing ME! Im so honored!Warmly,

Chase is 1! So crazy how fast they grow! I feel so honored to have been chosen to capture his first year. This family loves fiercely and he is the apple of their eye, for sure! World Breastfeeding Week.Its not easy for everyone to nurse. with new genetic mutations causing lip and tongue ties (they always happen together), lots of mommies are struggling. Ive been an advocate for breastfeeding for a long time and know a lot about MTHFR and babies who are lip tied, causing issues from reflux, speech issues, mastitis, weight loss, colic, the list goes on! I recently had a client (who has had two babies and I photographed both) and I know her well enough that I knew she had been tested and found that she had MTHFR mutation. She had her 2nd son, Mason and of course he has both lip and tongue ties. Here is her story. Please SHARE so other mommies can know about this and we can spread it even more."I feel like sharing our story will hopefully help other moms who may not know why nursing isn't going well or why it's so painful. Mason was tongue and lip tied which caused BF to be excruciating. Hospital did a poor job at clipping anterior tongue tie and didn't even notice his lip tie and posterior tongue tie so we went to someone who specializes in ties and got them both lasered yesterday. (Clipping isn't enough so needs to be lasered) The past few days have been full of tears, anxiety, & I feel like it's been hard to even enjoy my baby because of all the pain I was in every 2 hours. I hope other moms out there who are having issues can find someone who specializes in this to help them out. Getting them fixed earlier will not only help feeding issues, but also help prevent failure to thrive, speech development and tooth decay/teeth problems later on. So thankful we are getting it all fixed now. I realize this may not seem like a big deal, but mixed with crazy post partum hormones and lack of sleep, it's been rough on us. Just wanted to share even if it just helps one other mama." 
Nashville Child Photographer | Chase's golden session
Sweet Chase was such fun for his 18 month session! I brought some bubbles and a wagon, which he was more than happy to play while I snapped WAY too many photos! His momma will have a tough time choosing between all the sweet shots. We did these in my field on my land, and so grabbing a chicken was just too easy! Nashville Baby Photographer | Henley is 12 months old!
A year ago, I had babies being born left and right. I remember it so vividly, because one of my clients waiting to birth her baby was my best friend. I had babies due in July AND August all born within a few weeks' time. One baby went overdue by 2 weeks, several came on time and several came early. There was a huge red full moon I remember, and then bam. Babies like crazy! Well, a year later, Im getting to photograph them at their one year sessions! Its so bitter sweet seeing them for the last time (for now anyway!). I know many clients will come back next year, and I can't wait to see how these babies prosper!This sweet girl is Henley. Nashville Child Photographer | A boy and a fish.
I feel so lucky to be able to capture childhood like this. I hope to do more sessions like this in the future! I have two boys and loved capturing Wyatt and his gold fish, and then him playing like a boy, getting dirty :) Children are such amazing little people, with imaginations and a mind that is endless! Nashville Baby Photographer | Lillian's 3 Month Lifestyle Studio Session
Sweet Lillian is 3 months old. It was really fun photographing her at my new East Nashville studio (Im sharing with someone). Its a very cute purple house with a gray door. It has 2 rooms for photography. One room holds a bed and makes a perfect situation for lifestyle portraits. Lillian did so well for her shoot, lasting over an hour! I can't wait to see what creativity comes from the new studio. xoxoWarmly,
