Nashville Maternity Photographer | Pamela's Fiery Sunset Session

The light was AMAZING the night of Pam's Maternity shoot. The sky was on fire, and so were Pam and I! We had such fun creating art from her special bump. Its a special type of session, photographing a woman in her glowing pregnancy. I LOVE shooting babies, but its so fun to pose adults for these sessions and to be able to take the time to take many different angles, and know that they will stand still. tehehe. Whereas, babies MOVE a lot! and you get what you can get most times :) I can't wait to meet Pam's baby in January!xoxoWarmly,

Baby Ryan is one :) Poor dear was recovering from being ill and a double ear infection. But somehow, we lucked out and got some really awesome shots! Our weather has been amazing this fall! Crazy warm! Even this coming weekend - nearly 60 DEGREES! I don't think I have ever photographed at sunset in December, because its always too cold! I can't wait to see what the winter brings!Warmly,       

Nashville Baby Photographer | Lane turns 1!

Baby Lane is ONE! Already! I can't believe how fast these babies just grow! Lane LOVES to eat, I even gave him some avocado after our shoot (we shot on my land at my home). Mom had a long drive, and I didn't want him to get fussy. Lane is so sweet and smiley. I just adored photographing him this year. Im so blessed with the best clients!Warmly,

Nashville Maternity Photographer | Christine's Fall Maternity Session

Wave had such gorgeous weather this fall. Its been warm enough to let clients wear some more minimal type clothing and not totally freeze :)My clients and I had many laughs and such fun at their maternity session - we always have a blast together! I will have seen them three times between October and December, with a baby on the way, their 2 year session for their daughter and the newborn session in December. Nashville Family Photographer | Its Fall Baby!

What a year its been! Ive had too many amazing clients to count. But this family is definitely a favorite! This fall has been a strange one, from the weird weather (freezing first of October and Warm November) to my numerous computer issues (really, in the middle of busy season?!!?!) But now, alas, I have a new iMac, and its so much faster! However, every step was so well orchestrated on my old iMac. Now, I had to download every software again, I had to re-make my watermarks, figure out why some programs weren't working, pay to upgrade some, etc. Its been crazy trying to adjust, but I hope to bang out some sessions so my sweet clients don't start sending me hate mail ;)Thank you all for your patience! Capturing childhood is such a special session. I find it best to let them play or wonder and just capture what happens. Rather than force them to do much of anything. Childhood is such a magical time, the time when the littles believe in magic, have such imaginative experiences, and are still so innocent. Chloe Mae loved twirling in her dress and playing in the woods and in the field. I loved capturing her wonder and innocence.
