Callum is already six months, it seems time is flying faster with this family's second child. 2 children always seems to make life feel like a whirlwind! We had lovely weather for our session, as it preceded this huge heat wave that has been July. The sun flare is always fun to work with at this location. It can be tricky trying to get shots when Im staring into the sun, sometimes I can't even see what my clients are doing :)Im certain Callum will be walking by 1, he's already so much like his sister, beating milestones. He is so quaint and sweet. I can't wait to watch him grow this year.Warmly,
Nashville Child Photographer | Lane's fun 18 month session
I have been honored to photograph this baby since he was in his mommy's tummy. I adore Lane, he's so fun and sweet and such a chunk! He's growing too quickly. I love this age, they just have such fun manipulating objects (like a wagon or bucket) and they are so into exploring. I love capturing that! My main goal was to capture Lane's boyish adventurous side - I think it worked!

Henry is so precious, just look at this adorable peanut! I am so glad Ive changed my style over to lifestyle journalistic type newborn portraiture. Its so simple and clean. Also, when I was in the studio, my sibling shots failed 90% of the time. I mean, you are asking a toddler, whose entire world has been turned upside down by a new baby, to lie on their back in a strange place with a stranger above them and to hold the little bitty baby everyone has said to be careful with. But when they're in their own home and comfortable, I find it very easy to get these shots. Furthermore, most mommies REALLLLLY want a sibling shot. His big sis rocked hers and we got some shots of just her when baby was otherwise busy.Warmly,

I think I start off every single blog post with the words "I love". But gosh, you know - its true. I love babies. I love newborns. I love lifestyle in home documentary journalistic type sessions. Jacey was just too much fun for her session. She LOVED water and was a true fish! At the end she just wanted to keep swimming in the water and seeing the images I took. I loved her audacity and kind personality - not to mentions she's so adventurous. I was excited to see her personality caught on the camera. Meeting her and her parents was such fun!

Anna and Dale are so fun during their sessions! We always have a blast. Their little boy is almost 2 and kills me with cuteness! Their sweet girl Magnolia is on her way into the world (soon I hope!) and I cannot WAIT to meet her! Anna rocked the water photos, she loves all things nature. The weather was seriously amazing for their session, the weather this summer has been incredibly unpredictable. we have had so many storms and heat, more so than normal. April this year, I had SO many reschedules, it was insane, because we had so much COLD. I could have shot more in the winter than April and Summer because it was so warm! Im nervous about this Fall. Amos is so adventurous, He's so brave and unafraid. I loved watching him explore! Boys are so fun to photograph, and they all love sticks and rocks and water (and to be naked!)
