Nashville Newborn Photography | The Ourada Family

This family invited me into their home to capture their new life with their precious new baby girl. Their first baby… I just adore capturing a family for the first time in their motherhood journey. I loved spending time with them, getting to know them. We bonded over so many things, fitness, holistic health, home birth. I know they plan to hire me again and again and I cannot wait.

As a first time mom who happens to be more conservative, Therese was hesitant to have nursing photos. Which is always fine by me, but I do remind moms that they 1) dont have to print them or share them ever and 2) can’t go back have them done.

So after a bit, she said she did in fact, want some photos of her nursing her baby. I am so glad she did! (I won’t share them here, they are for her eyes only). As a new mom, oftentimes you are still shaping into the mother you will be and you just never know how you will feel later.

My favorite photos from this session are in the nursery by the window. I think these are the photos that tell the most story of the newness of being parents and the new chapter of their relationship and marriage.
